The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and Centra-Bedford Memorial Hospital held their second annual Summer's End Festival today at Forest Presbyterian Church. It was a chance to raise school supplies for Bedford County students.

"My favorite part is just getting to know the different people in the community. Having businesses come out and be a part of it. It's a family friendly event so it's really great to just get kids out and for everyone to have fun," Olivia Beavon, director of special events & communications at Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, said.

The event also featured face painting, games, local vendors and a 1K Fun Run for kids and adults.
