ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- In Roanoke, thousands of families brought in New Year's at Noon at the Berglund Center!
From bouncy houses to men on stilts, families had an afternoon filled with fun
The annual New Year's at Noon 'ball drop' also to be a success as 60,000 bouncy balls dropped from the rafters, which was much more than last year's 20,000.
Organizers say this is the largest indoor release of bouncy balls in history.
"We definitely wanted to get out and it was a good price and a really good deal for them to have all of this fun here. My daughter did all of the bounce houses, so she's exhausted. Now we're just waiting for the ball to drop," said attendee Jennifer McConville.
Organizers also held an additional sensory ball drop later on in the day for kids with special needs.
