Cyclist hurt in crash in northeast Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) -- Update: 7:13 a.m.
As of 7:13 a.m. all lanes have re-opened.

Original Story:
A bicyclist was taken to a hospital after a crash in northeast Roanoke.

Roanoke City Police said a biker and a vehicle collided around 5:42 a.m. Thursday.

Police have since closed the intersection of Orange Avenue Northeast and Hollins Road Northeast; and detours are in place.

The bicyclist was seen being taken away via ambulance, no information has been released about the person's condition.
