Buena Vista Chaplain helps community grieve those lost in South River Market explosion

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - As the community works to move forward, a chaplain from the Buena Vista Police Department is helping people come to terms with the loss

"Our job at this point is to be close and be ready to assist with emotional issues and to make sure that all those people that are affected have the opportunity to talk about it," Andrew Wolfe, the Buena Vista Police Department Lead Chaplain, said.

Wolfe says after a tragedy like this, there are typically a couple weeks of an outpouring of support, before a void. He recommends keeping an eye out for those still grieving in the weeks to come.
