Caller mistakes apple fritter exchange for drug deal

ANTIGO, Wis. (WSAW)-- Two men exchanging a small white bag for money drew attention from a concerned citizen the morning of July 19, prompting a call to the Antigo Police Department in Wisconsin.

The caller was able to provide a clothing description. Antigo Police responded to a parking lot in the city's downtown just before 10 a.m.

Police located the men and discovered the bag contained an apple fritter; which had been exchanged for $1.
