Cancer diagnosis and transfer of convicted killer, Jesse Matthew

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7)-- According to CBS19 in Charlottesville, Jesse Matthew Jr. has been moved in order to get medical treatment at a secure unit in Sussex State Prison. He has been diagnosed with some form of cancer.

Matthew pleaded guilty in 2016 to the murders of Virginia Tech student, Morgan Harrington, and University of Virginia student, Hannah Graham. He also made an Alford plea to sexual assault in Fairfax County.

The loss of both Morgan and Hannah is forever remembered with the Help Save the Next Girl foundation.
