ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7)-- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Virginia and First Team Subaru teamed up to bring more comfort to cancer patients.

On Thursday, the two groups delivered blankets, encouraging words, and arts and crafts kits to patients and their families who are at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

This is the fourth consecutive year First Team Subaru and LLS’s Virginia Chapter have worked together to try and help these strong individuals be a little more comfortable while they fight.

The LLS has a 70-year history of helping people who have been impacted by cancer.
