UPDATE: Roanoke man charged with DUI after King Street accident

According to Roanoke police, a Roanoke man has been arrested and charged following an accident on King Street Friday morning.

Roanoke police say they responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 3300 block of King Street around 3 a.m. Friday.

Police say the vehicle was driving south when it left the road and hit a guard rail. The vehicle then flipped over and landed in a ravine.

The driver of the vehicle, Sean Greenway II, 25, of Roanoke suffered minor injuries and did not need to be taken to the hospital.

According to Roanoke police, Greenway was arrested and charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license.

Police are on the scene of an overturned vehicle on King Street in Roanoke near the Glade Creek Apartments.

The vehicle appears to have rolled down about a 10 foot embankment and landed among trees.

We are told that King Street has been reduced to one lane while officials work to clear the scene.

Police say they have been questioning someone at the scene.

Police are working to find out what caused the car to overturn.

No injuries were reported.
