UPDATE: Runaway Christiansburg girl found in Georgia

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) -- UPDATE:

According to officials, Isabella Galante was found safe in Clayton Georgia.

UPDATE:

Surveillance photos have spotted Isabella Galante, a missing teen from Christiansburg.

She was seen at the Christiansburg Waffle House Saturday around 5:30 p.m.

Galante was wearing a different sweatshirt and had taken her glasses off. She may also be wearing a backpack.

Officials say they have reason to believe she is trying to get to Florida.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.

The Christiansburg Police Department needs your help in locating a runaway teen.

Police say 17-year-old Isabella Galante ran away from her guardian at the Xtreme Springz trampoline park around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. The park is located on Midway Plaza Drive in Christiansburg.

Police say Galante ran on foot and was last seen in the area of Corning Inc., near North Franklin Street.

According to police, Galante is described as being 5'2" tall, weighing 120 lbs with short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a ball cap, red sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and black Nike tennis shoes.
