CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) City officials in Charlottesville are responding to the outcome of Saturday's Ku Klux Klan Rally. Over 1,000 people gathered in Justice Park to shut down the KKK.

There were close to 200 police officers on site. Officers kept KKK members and protesters apart, by taking loyal white knight members to a separate location. Police did have to use tear gas and pepper spray at one point to shut down protesters. Around 20 people were arrested at the rally.
