CoGro opening at Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center
From entrepreneurs to trailing spouses, CoGro is about to be a bustling hub.
It's Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center's newest concept that will officially open Wednesday morning with a ribbon cutting.
There are private offices, four person offices, conference rooms, phone booths, a putting green and a full list of amenities, including access to all of the Research Center amenities.
"We've got over 3,000 people out here now so there is a lot of talent, a lot of capability, but a lot of people don't know what goes on here so we thought by bringing in the micro companies, they would be able to grow to a level to really be able to appreciate what the CRC can do for us," said Joe Meredith, President and CEO of VTCRC.
Once at capacity, there will be about 65 people working out of CoGro, but right now there are still spaces available.
