Congressman Ben Cline visits Rescue Mission to serve a meal
Congressman Ben Cline said Tuesday that no one is above serving. So, that's exactly what he did at Roanoke's Rescue Mission.
He toured the facility, including the warehouse where hundreds of boxes are packed each week that are then given out each Saturday to families in need.
"During this holiday season it's so important to thank those who do so much for this community and through the mission work, the health care, the food pantry, it's an amazing place, amazing people helping out and they can always use more volunteers," said Cline.
The Rescue Mission is planning on serving more than one thousand folks in our community in need this Thanksgiving.
