Firefighters have put out a trailer fire on Brake Road in Elliston.
Officials say two people were in the home when the fire started. Both are safe and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
A woman living in the home says she woke up to the fire Wednesday morning and called 911.
Fire crews say they were able to put the fire out in about 6 minutes.
Officials are still investigating what caused the fire, but believe it may have started in the kitchen.
Crews from Elliston, Roanoke County and Montgomery County responded to the fire.
