Crocs to close remaining manufacturing facilities; executive to resign

NIWOT, Colorado (WDBJ7/KDKA) -- Crocs Inc. announced that it’s closing all of its manufacturing facilities and said that its chief financial officer will resign.

Right now it’s unclear what the future of production will be.

Carrie Teffner, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will leave Crocs on April 1, 2019. Her successor will be Anne Mehlman, who comes from Amazon-owned online shoe retailer Zappos. Mehlman will begin her duties on August 24th.

Crocs recently closed 28 retail sales locations, and there are currently less than 400 locations globally.
