The Danville Area Training Center has officially opened again after several months of renovations.
The Danville Life Saving Crew, city officials and community members gathered for a ribbon-cutting Wednesday morning.
Tours were given of the new clinical spaces and training rooms.
Every Danville Life Saving Crew member is trained there, and CPR and other classes are available to the public.
"I have faith that the community is on the way to the right path and things like this really gives me faith in what we're doing in the community," says Danville Life Saving Crew Chief, Robbie Woodall.
Multiple sponsors donated $250,000 to the project, but another $750,000 is still owed on the building.
