Danville Police arrest two in the murder of 17-year-old boy, 1 still at large

DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- The Danville Police Department has charged three people in connection to the alleged murder of a 17-year-old boy on Sunday.

The charges follow a shooting in Danville that left a 17-year-old boy dead Sunday on Arnett Blvd.

Danville Police has charged the following with one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder:
• Ladreka Shawnta Brandon, 33, of Danville
• Antonio Lamonta Burton, 21, of Danville
• Justin Montel Jones, 20, of Danville

Brandon and Burton have been arrested at this time. Jones is still at large and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Police are no longer looking in to O'Bryan Daquan King for the shooting that took place on Juless St. Police have withdrawn King's charges.

The investigation is still ongoing at this time.

The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
