Disney worker falls to his death at Epcot

ORLANDO, Fla. (WDBJ7) — CBS-affiliate, WPEC reports a worker fell and died at Walt Disney World's Epcot according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to an industrial accident at Epcot at 7:19 a.m., according to the sheriff's office. On arrival, deputies found a man that had fallen to his death, he was pronounced dead at the scene by Reedy Creek Fire.

The man was identified by the Sherriff's Office as George Grimes, 58, according to the Associated Press.

Grimes reportedly fell at a construction site behind the France pavilion.

Sheriff's said a preliminary investigation conducted determined that this was a single-man incident and there were no signs of foul play.

The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
