Appomattox County farm used as therapy for veterans suffering with PTSD

Providence Farm is providing a way for Veterans suffering with PTSD to find relief. The 90 acre farm is located in Concord. It opened almost a year ago and is open to Veterans and their families who've struggled with the disorder. A 12 week course called Reboot Combat Recovery is offered to help with the healing process.

Owner James McLeod says this is only just the beginning of what he has planned for the farm. As someone who's suffered from PTSD, McLeod says he knew he wanted to do something to help others going through such a difficult situation.

The next Reboot Combat Recovery starts in September.
