Fatal two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7)-- According to Virginia State Police, at 4:53 am on Thursday, June 13th, a trooper responded to a scene of a two-vehicle crash in Washington County that left the driver of a Nissan 350Z dead.

Along the Exit 17 ramp towards I-81 N, Michael R. White, 20, lost control of his car and hit a tractor-trailer in the far left lane. This launched the Nissan into the median.

Michael R. White of Lebanon, Va. died at the scene and was wearing a seat belt. The driver was not injured. This incident is still being investigated.
