Fire breaks out at vacant home in Roanoke County
Roanoke County Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the 3200 block of Carvins Cove Road in the Masons Cove area of Roanoke County for reports of a house fire.
The call came in around 6:40 Tuesday morning.
When crews arrived on scene they found flames showing from the front of the house then soon found that the house was fully on fire.
Officials say the house has been vacant for approximately 6-8 months and is considered a total loss.
According to officials there were no injuries.
Crews from Masons Cove, Fort Lewis and Hollins responded to the fire.
The fire marshal is on scene and working to find a cause.
