The fire happened on Merrimac Road in Blacksburg. The roof of the trailer collapsed, trapping smoke and fire underneath. That forced crews to lift the roof from a distance to safely put the fire out.

The cause of the fire is unknown. There were no injuries.

Crews are no longer on the scene, but will monitor the area through the night since the remnants are still smoking.

The fire call originally came in that the fire was at the Adam's Marke trailer park. Fire crews from both Blacksburg and Christiansburg responded.
