Blooming flowers, changing weather, and a baby horse this spring? That's what one group saw running along the beaches of the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
According to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, the first foal of the season was born recently.
"No April Foolin’ here - first foal of the season was born in the last 24 hours or so!," the group said via Facebook.
The baby and mom both look happy and healthy, according to the group.
The group says they are unsure of the horse's sex at this time, but encourages anyone that sees the foal and its family to make room.
