FRANKLIN Co., (WDBJ7) -- Update:
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has charged a 45-year-old woman with malicious wounding in relation to a Monday morning shooting.
The Franklin County Sheriff Office identified the shooter from the incident as Kimberly Ann Morgan-Lefever, 45, of Rocky Mount.
Sheriff's charged Morgan-Lefever with malicious wounding.
Deputies responded to reports of a gunshot wound just after 3:00 a.m., the call was made by Morgan-Lefever herself after firing a round that hit a 47-year-old male.
Morgan-Lefever is being held in the Western Virginia Regional Jail without bound. Additional charges are still pending.
Franklin County Sheriff's have arrested a person in relation to a shooting, one person was injured, Monday morning.
Franklin County Sheriff's Captain Phillip Young stated that the shooting occurred in the area of Bonbrook Mill Road and Wirtz Road.
Deputies are still investigating.
