Another even stronger earthquake has struck California Friday evening.

The newest earthquake’s epicenter was about 10 miles north northeast of Ridgecrest, California, which is about 150 miles northeast of Los Angeles.

The quake was upgraded to a 7.1 magnitude which is even stronger than the original 6.4 magnitude quake on July 4th.

The intense quake was even detected on the Virginia Tech seismograph located more than two-thousand miles away.

Other seismographs all the way in Antarctica and even Germany detected the quake.

These are the strongest earthquakes to hit the state in more than two decades.
