CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- They have a lot of shows at the Historic Masonic Theater in Clifton Forge, and there's an extra special one Sunday.
The STARS Variety show lets special needs adults put on the show they want to.
It's not your usual variety show.
"We sing things that we really feel that we can sing," said Sandra Brady,
STARS stands for Special Theatrical Artist Review and Showcase.
"We love them. We just love them," Paula Crance said. Crance is a director with STARS.
They choose their own numbers, and then show the world what they've got.
"Some of it's comedy, some of it's Christian, some of it's rock-n-roll. And you even get a little bit of Elvis Presley that pops up once in a while," Brady said.
"We don't tell them no. If they pick it, and that's what they like, that's what they sing," Crance said.
But the directors say it brings joy to everyone.
Crance said, "It means more to us than it does to them. They just want to sing and dance. We do it because of what they do for us."
The show is Sunday at 3 p.m.
