Governor Northam's Office aims to expand engagement with Virginians

RICHMOND, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Governor Northam announces to expand the Governor's office of community engagement Friday morning.

In a press release statement, the Governor states his willingness to further facilitate communication between Virginians and the Governor's Office through the use of websites and newsletters.

According to the press release, the website and newsletters would allow for easier connection between constituents and the Governor's Office of Constituent Services and Community Engagement.

“One of the core duties of state government is to be responsive to constituents, and my office is dedicated to delivering world-class service to the citizens of Virginia,” said Governor Northam in a press release. “In making these changes, we are working proactively to engage with all Virginians to address their needs and hear their ideas so we can keep our Commonwealth moving forward.”
