GULF COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG) -- Gulf County Fire Coordinator Brad Price was helping family members clear debris from Hurricane Michael when a tree fell on his tractor.

Price, 49, died at the scene.

The Wewahitchka native worked as a firefighter and paramedic in Bay County and, in the past, worked for Lynn Haven Fire and Emergency Services.

The Gulf County Sheriff's Office says Price "was known for his service to his community in Gulf County as well as coaching softball for many years."

Price's casket was draped in an American flag and transported to the Bay County Medical Examiners Office, led by a procession of emergency vehicles.
