Henry County man faces federal charges after undercover drug investigation

HENRY CO., Va. (WDBJ7) A Henry County man has been arrested in an undercover drug investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine and heroin.

Deputies executed a search warrant Thursday at King's Court Motel in Ridgeway.

During the search warrant, investigators seized methamphetamine and heroin.

Bobby William Murphy, 41, of Ridgeway, was arrested and faces federal charges with two counts of possession of a controlled substance classified in schedule I or II with the intent to distribute.

Murphy is being held in the Henry County Jail on $3,000 secured bond.

This is an ongoing investigation. Additional charges are pending.

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2,500 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determines the amount of reward paid.
