ROANOKE CO., Va. (WDBJ7) UPDATE:
An Oklahoma man has been charged with reckless driving after a fatal crash on Interstate 81 South in Roanoke County, according to Virginia State Police.
A man driving a 2002 Jeep Liberty was driving North on I-81 when he lost control and ran off the left side of the roadway. He crossed the median and hit a person driving a 1999 Honda Civic traveling southbound.
The driver of the Jeep was Monte Zuck, 72, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was wearing a seatbelt and was brought to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment. Zuck has been charged with reckless driving.
The driver of the Honda was Hannah Hochstetler, 26, of Jackson, Mississippi, was wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. Caleb Hochstetler was a passenger in the Honda. He was wearing his seatbelt and taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
At least one person has been killed in a crash that is causing major backups on I-81 South in Roanoke County.
The crash happened near mile marker 134 between Salem and Dixie Caverns around 10:55 a.m.
State troopers say one person died in the crash and two others were hurt. The crash happened just before 11 a.m. when a vehicle headed north crossed the median and hit a car headed south.
At its worst, southbound traffic was backed up six miles because both lanes were closed.
