ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Here is an egg-cellent way to spend your Saturday, join the Science Museum of Western Virginia for an ability inclusive egg hunt!

The Science Museum of Western Virginia is teaming up with the Macaroni Kid Roanoke and Facilitating Awareness and Valuable Experiences (FAVE) to bring a new twist to egg-hunts.

The sensory-friendly egg hunt is designed for children who are impacted with physical, communication or cognitive needs by taking away the need for competition in a traditional egg hunt.

The egg hunt will be accessible for hunters with sensory disorders between ages 3-13 years old.

Each hunter will be tasked with finding seven distinctly colored eggs and turn their eggs in for a sensory and dietary-friendly prize of their choice.

There will also be a series of Glow-in-the-Dark egg hunts at 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Purchase tickets for the egg-hunt here.
