CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7)-- A large barn caught fire Monday along Elmwood Lane in Campbell County.

According to the Evington fire chief, a volunteer firefighter noticed smoke and went to investigate the structure. The firefighter said wind caused the fire to spread quickly, and within three minutes it engulfed the building.

The owners of the building said it was used as a storage facility, and the fire started in the electric room.

No injuries have been reported. Three dogs kept in the barn were rescued.

The cause and origin of the fire have not been determined.
