LEXINGTON, Va. (WDBJ7) There’s a new history on Robert E. Lee by a Lexington author
David Cox is an Episcopalian minister who became interested in Lee’s choices and his religious life.
“I was getting very interested in what this guy wanted to do," he explains. "Why he was doing what he did. Why did he come here? Why did we see him here in Lexington more as a person of peace whereas in Richmond and elsewhere he is seen more as a military general.”
Cox was autographing his book at Books & Co. in Lexington Sunday.
