A jury in September deliberated for hours, but deliberations resulted in a hung jury. His next trial is scheduled for April 1, 2020.

The mother of three-month-old Arieanna Day had testified, admitting she gave false statements to police about what happened to the baby.

The defense attorney for the father of the missing baby questioned Jessica Day about Arieanna, who was reported missing from Roanoke City in September 2018.

Andrew Terry was charged with concealing the baby's body near Blacksburg. But still no body has been recovered.

Jessica Day admitted to jurors she also suffered from memory lapses.

Terry pleaded not guilty to his felony charge.
