ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (WDBJ7)-- A man was found dead Friday in Rocky Mount at a home along North Main Street.
According to the Rocky Mount Police Department, the cause of death is still being investigated, and the victim was taken to the Western Virginia Medical Examiner's office in Roanoke for an autopsy.
The autopsy is expected to be released in the coming week.
According to Rocky Mount Police Chief K.E. Criner, "There is no reason to believe there is a threat to the community."
