A man is wanted after a homicide case in Franklin County Saturday.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, the homeowner at a house on Woodthrush Circle in the Hardy Community was found dead at the residence by a family member and called police.

Michael Alexander Brown, 22, who was determined to last live on Woodthrush Circle, has been named as a person of interest.

The Sheriff's Office originally believed he was driving a 1976 white Cadillac with no registered plates. However, new information leads authorities to believe he could be driving a black 2008 Lincoln Town Car.

Brown is listed as 6' and weighing 145 pounds.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office urges anyone that comes into contact with the person of interest to "use extreme caution and notify local law enforcement immediately." They invite anyone with additional information to call 540-483-6662.
