CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) Christiansburg Parks and Recreation is hosting a program Tuesday night to teach parents about the warning signs of drug use.
The meeting is from 7-9 p.m. at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. The course is free and open to parents and guardians.
While pre-registration was required, Christiansburg officials say they will not turn anyone away.

Christiansburg Parks & Recreation will host a program for parents on the warning signs of impairment and drug use at the Christiansburg Recreation Center on Tuesday, May 17, from 7 to 9 p.m.
This free course is open to parents and guardians and will focus on trending drug and narcotic issues in the area. Taught by officers from the Christiansburg Police Department, the presentation will explore the types of substances children may be exposed to and how parents can recognize the warning signs of drug use.
Registration is required and ends Friday, May 13.
