One arrested in undercover drug bust

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ7) -- The Henry County Sheriff's Office has finished an undercover drug investigation into the distribution of cocaine.

December 5, Henry County Sheriff's Office investigators along with the Virginia State Police and Department of Motor Vehicles executed search warrants at two A&E Auto Sales locations in Collinsville, Virginia.

They found over one pound of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, 3 firearms and $10,179. The street value of the narcotics is estimated to be over $20,000.

They also seized seven vehicles, one boat, one ATV, and one trailer throughout the investigation.

What the police suspect are narcotics will be submitted to the Virginia Department of Forensic Science for analysis.

Tamon Dorell Witcher, 31, of Collinsville, was arrested and charged with "Possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute (felony)," and has been released on bond.

This is an ongoing investigation.
