UPDATE: Appalachian Power expecting all power restored by Tuesday evening

According to Appalachian Power, the more than 4,000 customers who were without power should expect complete restoration by Tuesday evening.

According to a release, Appalachian Power customers in the Grayson and Carroll County areas should have their power back on by 4 p.m. Monday.

Customers in the Henry, Pittsylvania and Patrick County areas should have their power back on no later than 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Over 4,000 Appalachian Power customers are without power as of 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

The majority of outages are in Grayson, Patrick and Henry Counties.

Grayson County has over 1,000 outages. Henry County has over 900 outages. Patrick County has over 700 outages.

Appalachian Power has not released an estimated restoration time for these areas.
