Overnight fire destroys barn, hay in Pittsylvania County

A barn is a total loss after a fire in Pittsylvania County on Friday morning.
The fire was reported around 3 a.m. on Oxford Road in the Gretna/Climax area.
All of the hay stored inside was destroyed, as well as the barn itself.
No one was hurt.
The cause is not known at this time.
Six fire departments responded.
The Gretna Fire Department does not have an estimate on the cost of the damage.
