BUCHANAN, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Parry McCluer hadn't scored a point in two games this season but the Fighting Blues were out to buck the trend Friday against James River in Buchanan.
It was scoreless into the fourth quarter, when James River QB Aaron Bridges rolls out and heaves it downfield on the long completion to set the Knights up in the red zone.
Bridges follows his line in and scores on the push to make it a 6-nothing ballgame.
Keaton Coleman doing his best to keep the Blues in it. He rips off good yardage down inside the 30 yard line, yeah that's a first down young man.
But their hopes were dashed as Ty Ruley's pass under pressure was intercepted by Tanner Dillow, and James River ran out the clock to win, 6 to zero.
Parry McCluer is still scoreless on the season.
