Pittsylvania Sheriff's Office looking for early-morning shooter

BLAIRS, Va. (WDBJ7) - Pittsylvania County Sheriff's investigators are looking for the person who shot another person early Wednesday.

About 1:45 a.m., deputies responded to a call of shots being fired in the 1000 block of Lawless Creek Road in Blairs. They found one male victim, who was flown to a Roanoke hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to investigators.

There was also an unoccupied vehicle and a mobile home that had been shot. The mobile home was occupied, but no one else was hurt.

The shooter(s) had left the area before deputies got there.
