Police confirm remains found at Hampton steam plant to be missing 2-year-old

HAMPTON, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Police confirm the remains found at a Hampton steam plant a week ago to be those of 2-year-old Noah Tomlin.

Hampton police said a DNA analysis confirmed the body of 2-year-old Noah Tomlin was found at the Hampton NASA steam plant.

The Hampton Police Division will continue to ensure this case transitions to the prosecution phase successfully.

A little over a week ago, on July 3, authorities confirmed a body was found at the steam plant.

Tomlin was originally reported missing on June 24.
