Police arrest alleged accomplice in Grandin Village bank robbery

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7)-- UPDATE: Roanoke Police have identified Jessica Huffmyer, 35, as an alleged accomplice in a Monday bank robbery. She has been arrested and is charged with robbery.

The male robber is still at large.

The Roanoke Police Department is asking anyone with information about the male suspect contact them at 540-344-8500.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Roanoke Police Department has released photos from a bank robbery in the 1300 block of Grandin Road.

Witnesses told police about 1 p.m. Monday, a man walked into Pinnacle Bank, showed a gun and demanded money. No one was hurt and he left when he got the money.

A brief hold-and-secure was put in place during the investigation, then quickly lifted, at Virginia Heights Elementary, Wasena Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Middle, and the Patrick Henry High School campus.
