Police investigate shooting after teen killed in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a juvenile male dead.

Police said the shooting at 13th Street SW and Campbell Avenue SW in Roanoke just before 10 p.m.

Roanoke Fire-EMS pronounced the teen dead at the scene.

Police are talking with witnesses, and tell WDBJ7 there are suspects in the case.

No arrests have been made.

Officials said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
