UPDATE: Fourth person arrested in connection to Bedford County murder



The Bedford County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested Tevante Pannell in connection to the shooting of Aaron Brumfield on September 8.

Pannell was one of four people wanted in the homicide investigation, and the last person police arrested.

All four people are being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.


Robert Du’rille Goodman was arrested in Campbell County Friday morning, according to the Bedford County Sheriff's Office.

Goodman is charged with the second degree murder of Aaron Brumfield.

Investigators are still searching for Tevante D. Pannell.


According to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, investigators have identified two suspects and arrested another suspect in connection to a homicide that happened on September 8th.

On Thursday morning, police arrested 23-year-old Trevor J. McIntosh, in Lynchburg and was charged for second degree murder of Aaron Brumfield.

On Wednesday, investigators identified Tevante Deshawn Pannell, 23, of Evington, as the first suspect they're still searching for in this case. On Thursday, Robert Du’rille Goodman, 18, of Altavista was identified as the second suspect. Both are wanted on second degree murder charges for Brumfield.

Additional charges are possible.
