Pulaski Police Department arrest wanted Florida man

PULASKI Co., Va. (WDBJ7) -- A man wanted in Florida was arrested by the Pulaski Police Department on Wednesday in Pulaski County, according to a news release from the Pulaski Police Department.

The office identified the man as Travis S. Bradley, 22, of Cocoa, Florida.

Bradley was wanted for alleged offenses such as first-degree felony murder, attempted robbery with a firearm, and second-degree felony murder with a firearm and grand theft, the release stated.

According to the Cocoa Police Department, Bradley was the third suspect wanted in connection to the shooting death of Jaleen Howard.

Police say Bradley and three others went to Howard's apartment to steal money and drugs. During the robbery, Howard shot at the suspects in an effort to defend himself. Howard was killed in the exchange of gunfire, along with Rahkwon Oquendo, 22, who police say was involved with the robbery.

Bradley is being held in the New River Regional Jail to be transferred to Florida.
