In Roanoke County, it's been two months since a teenager was shot and killed by police.

An internal and criminal investigation being done by the police department are both ongoing.

Tonight a crowd gathered at the spot where Kionte Spencer was shot to renew the focus on the case.

"We demand transparency," said Reverend Alonzo Smith. "We demand an independent investigation. We demand, Chief [Howard] Hall, an end to racial profiling."

There's no indication minorities are targeted by Roanoke County Police. Pictures released from dash-cam video show Spencer with a B.B. gun in his hand before the shooting.

It's not clear if he heard prior commands from officers to drop the weapon.
