UPDATE: Roanoke City school bus accident cleared

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) The accident happened at the intersection of Courtland Road and Short Street around 7:10 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the Roanoke Police Department, a man dropping his child off at the bus stop forgot to put his car in park and rear-ended the bus.

The bus sustained very minor damage.

No charges were filed.


The school bus accident is now cleared. We are working to get more information.

A driver rear-ended a Roanoke City school bus on Tuesday morning.

It happened on Courtland Road at Short Street, in the Northwest area of Roanoke.
