Roanoke Police told WDBJ7 Friday they believe the two people shot on Wednesday were shot in the same place, a fact that wasn't immediately clear following the shooting.

Police responded Wednesday afternoon to the Lee Hy Manor Apartments on Stratford Park Drive SW. There they found a man who'd been shot. Ten minutes later, police were called to the 3700 block of Troutland Avenue NW and found a woman who'd been shot.

At first, police said it was unclear if the two instances were related. Now police believe both were shot on Stratford Park Drive. Both victims are continuing to receive treatment for their injuries.

Police have not identified any suspects and are still working to determine what led to the shooting.
