Roanoke Salvation Army to offer cooling station in summer heat
The Salvation Army will offer some relief from the heat of the summer.
When temperatures are above 90 degrees, the location on Dale Avenue in Roanoke will act as a cooling station.
From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, the air-conditioned building will be open to the public. Cold water will be provided.
There are no requirements. The Salvation Army will not keep records of visitors.
